Personality

Quiet, composed, serious. He is also fully aware of his superior strength compared to others, and wants to use that power to help people.

However, he can be a bit awkward—sometimes speaking condescendingly without meaning to, or starting to help people without saying anything.

He has a strong resolve to protect his family, his country, and the world he lives in.

He despises the deities and monsters that arrogantly walk the Earth as if it's their own. The Earth belongs to humans, and together with the military he serves in, he vows to eradicate every single one of those abominations. Having grown up with plenty of privilege, among which being exceptionally strong with a wealthy family, he wants to use his privileges to help ensure that the remaining humans on Earth can live peacefully, free from fear of the so-called "gods".

His 7-year-old cousin calls him "Fre-nii."

Hobbies

He often struggles with controlling the strength of his hands and fingers. He often breaks pencils when writing letters or notes. Because of this, a friend recommended he practice controlling his strength by sculpting. He doesn’t particularly love it yet, so it’s hard to call it a true hobby, but he’s dedicated to practicing sculpture seriously.

Although he doesn't have much free time, when he does, he plays chess alone. Recently, he's started sculpting his own chess pieces.

An only child.

His father's name is Bartholomeus. A large man with blonde hair and a scar on his face. He’s a strict person, but as he’s gotten older, he shows his softer side to his family every now and then.

His mother's name is Vivian. She’s young and extremely beautiful, with black hair that shines like a clear night sky. Her eyes, like Frederick’s, are a clear light blue, like that of the surface of the sea.

Frederick was often told that he resembled his mother.

Resembled. Past tense.

His mother lost her entire left arm and suffered burns on half of her face after an encounter with monsters. She also lost one of her eyes. This was about 20 years ago, when Frederick was still a child.

Wanting to comfort his mother, who had become withdrawn and whose appearance had changed, Frederick tried to match her by hiding his left eye with his bangs. "Now we’re the same, so Mother won’t feel lonely anymore."

Frederick and his parents live with Frederick's cousin, Cecily.

Cecily’s parents (Frederick’s father’s younger brother and his wife) were killed by mythical creatures when she was still a baby. Since then, Frederick's family took her in.

Cecily – 7 years old. Cute, angel incarnate.

She calls Frederick "Fre-nii."

She has always said she loves him more than anything and wants to marry him when she grows up.

She often hugs Frederic, but because of his overwhelming strength, he doesn’t really hug her back tightly—he’s afraid of using too much force and hurting her.

He often holds hands with Cecily, but when she grabs his finger or hand, he doesn’t squeeze her hand back either.

Cecily doesn’t understand complex words, so when he talks to her, Frederick tries his best to speak more casually.

Frederick was killed in action at 27 years old, along with 18 other commanding officers.
